Dating Diary

For this program I am going to use one of the free dating websites out there. There are many to choose from like Okcupid and Plentyoffish.com. I think that would be a bit too easy since there are a lot of members on those sites. Not sure how many but millions in the US.

I am choosing an up and comer website called Datecover.com.  it's free and for an experiment like this I will have to say let's give this a shot. If it sucks we'll try a new site, but it looks nice with the blue front and the legs and arm for that cinderella theme. Kinda cheesy, but alright.

1. Standard info on the first page...email, dob, male seeking female...NEXT!!!

3. Describe yourself - Wont lie here. I mean I pretty much know I am about as average as can be, but I do know how to separate myself from the other average joes out there...LAUGHTER. but lets finish the form: height 5'10" weight 205...whoa. Ballsy for a website to ask the weight of a person. Pretty sensitive subject for women. Wonder if they will answer honestly. Body type: average. Hair and Eyes: brown and most important of all, THE HEADLINE. This is where the boys and the men are separated. The key is to put something cute and whitty and avoid dorky and plain.

4. Profile Info...This is a lot more than I wanted to do for this first entry so we will continue this next week!

4. Profile info - This is getting personal now. Be honest. Finished college so that looks good. But am I employed? If you are unemployed than you are unemployed. It happens, no big deal. another job is around the corner. But you can always make your job seem more interesting. Income...I'll leave that to you to decide. No shame if you leave it blank. Intrigue is good. Do you smoke, drink or do drugs. Yes yes and on occasion. I'm single and live alone. Shame on you married men/women out here looking for those discrete relationships :) Kids and pets are always a touchy subject. Kids come with baggage or doesn't it matter. For me it matters cause I hate drama, baggage and of course kids. If you have a cat, please leave now cause I puff up like a chia pet at the first sign. Allergies are not fun...NEXT!!!

5. What am I interested in - this website should find me some matches with this info filled properly. It's a free online dating site. What's better than that? Blonde, brunette, redhead. Skinny, athletic, average, and a few lbs. Some girls think they are fat when they aren't so always check that. Education doesn't matter to me as long as their is drive behind those eyes. You can only find that after the first date anyways so that's not too important. But you better live alone or with another hot roommate. Girls that live with dudes are a no no. There is usually something that could cause you to get into it with him or his friends. I've seen it way too many times to say it's just a fluke.

6. In your own words - guess it's time to be catchy, fun and unique. I usually rip off someone's one liner to catch her attention. Now don't make this too long. people don't like to read and it may seem like you are a know it all. 3 sentences at most.
